On Saturday, Sept. 24, the University of Oklahoma dedicated a statue honoring three of its greatest defensive football players in program history - brothers Lucious, Dewey and Lee Roy Selmon. The home of the statue is located at the southeast corner of the Jenkins Ave. and Brooks St. intersection, near the northeast corner of Gaylord Family — Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. The Selmon family, teammates of the Selmon trio and Selmon statue donors were invited to join the public in a special unveiling honoring the legendary siblings.
