A Letter from Maddie Stein:
As a born and raised Oklahoman, I learned about this thing called Sooner Magic. While growing up, Sooner Magic seemed to be about winning competitions and heroic efforts that inspired all. During my time with Varsity O and the athletics department, I have learned that Sooner Magic is fundamental in what makes a place like Oklahoma so special. The magic has certainly proven to provide inspiration but it is more prevalent than I originally thought – the magic is in the things, the places, and most importantly, the people.
I am grateful that I was able to witness and experience the magic with you all. While I am transitioning to another position within the industry, please know that the Sooner Magic will remain forever in my heart.
