50th Anniversary of OU Softball Celebration
On March 19, we welcomed home over 25 softball letterwinners to celebrate the 50th anniversary of OU Softball's first collegiate game against Oklahoma Baptist University. Mary Williams, OU's first varsity pitcher, threw out the first pitch prior to OUU vs. East Texas A&M.
On April 4, we welcomed home over 65 softball letterwinners to celebrate the 50th anniversary season of OU Softball.
On April 5, alumni who played under legendary Coach Marita Hynes gathered for a brunch in the Champions Lobby and tour of the new softball facility.
